Born straight out of the underground club scene in LA, waacking easily epitomizes the wild and fun counterculture of 70s nightlife. Join Coach Lex in our Waacking Dance Class, a crash course and a chance to let loose on the dance floor—or your living room.

Coach Lex aims to give waacking the spotlight it deserves as an outlet for self-expression and as an art form. He’s moved and grooved all the way to the top, earning honors in more than a few local battles as well as performing at international competitions.

Dance like nobody’s watching because believe me, honey. Nobody’s judging! Not heavily reliant on set choreography, waacking is all about throwing caution to the wind. Its energy stems from the LGBT community and their pillars of self-love and self-confidence. Freestyling is the name of the game, and hand dance moves are what sell. Coach Lex’s waacking tutorial will teach you to translate the music into tantalizing dance.
