Quarantine got your love life on pause? Don’t worry, Quaranthings is back to let you experience the exciting, heartwarming, and romantic world of BL! Quaranthings Season 2 is now streaming on Upstream, but SHOOR has something extra for hardcore fans of the webseries about finding love in the time of quarantine.
Quaranthings 2: Meet the Quaranteam
If you’re obsessed with Quaranthings, then it’s only right that you meet the Quaranteam behind it! SHOOR gives stans access to exclusive content that will put them at the center of the production with Quaranthings 2: Meet the Quaranteam, an insightful look at what goes on behind the scenes through the lens of the people producing the show.
Each week, the Quaranteam — i.e. Ride or Die, three experienced content creators (and friends!) who went back to their storytelling roots and brought Quaranthings to the world during the pandemic — hosts a livestream exploring the different facets of the production.
From the script to casting, from cinematography to music, and so on, the Quaranteam talks about all things Season 2 in new episodes every week, each with special guests, including leads Royce Cabrera and Kyo Quijano, Assistant Director Beverly Cumla, Production Manager Ken Barrientos, and DOP Edmer Guanlao.
The weekly livestreams will start on December [date], so book while you can right here! But just in case you miss out on any of the eight installments, don’t worry — you’ll be able to stream them all on demand on SHOOR (just stay tuned for the details on that)!

Pay close attention to the little details and click on objects to unlock exclusive content in the rooms and feel like a resident, albeit virtually!

In case you’re wondering, What’s BL?
A quick note to the unfamiliar, BL is Boys’ Love! It’s a subgenre of romance which focuses on — you guessed it — the boys! From manga to fanfiction to television and web shows, boys’ love content focuses on romance between two male leads. More often than not, one of them’s pretty aggressive, while the other is more submissive.
Although the genre is controversial in some ultra-conservative countries, this kind of romance is perceived as more wholesome, or even more “pure” compared to other genres. If you’re keen on exploring BL, here’s a quick list of popular BL shows from all over the globe to get you started:
